This is the traditional weekly thrift and bargain finds list.
These lists may start empty but as always: add your items.
Put in what you consider a bargain, tell us how much you paid and the place you got it from. Bargains can be thrift store finds or any second-hand purchases or discounted boardgames bought new. Don't forget to add your encounters with the Thrift Store Irritant Squad™ and any other embellishments in order to make it even more interesting.
The Weekly Thrift List Wayback Machine The Grand Vizier is maintaining a list of all the weekly thrift lists through time, and will be adding stats and interesting tidbits for each week. Your Thrift Store Bargain Finds Through Time

Salvation Army Thrift, $3.99. Yes, I have a VHS, but it hasn't been hooked up to the TV in years. Has anybody created a DVD version to play the game in modern times? Wait, what's that? You need the base game to play?
I was surprised to learn today that I am a Euro-snob.
I passed over this copy of Kablamo twice before I picked it up. The graphics reminded me of American games like KABOOM!and Ker Plunk and I was having none of it. But as soon as I noticed the umlaut over the designer's name (Christoffer Krämer), it went straight into the cart.
$2.99 at GW. Complete, except for the instructions.
Here are the shelf photos. Test yourself. You may be a Euro-snob and not even know it.
Found this at the same store in a dangling sac. Complete and looks like it's barely been played. $3.99, but the sac also had a deck of Power Rangers playing cards, some card game by Bic called "Keep Away" (I'll look that one up in a bit and see if the Geek has it already), Another card game from the Discovery Channel, "Go Bug", which is a simple matching game, one shrink wrapped deck of Uno cards (I already have a set, so I don't know what to do with these), plus a bunch of miscellaneous Christmas cards, Easter stickers, and earplugs(!).
Same store, $.99. Everything present (including the Precious and the Ringwraith) and in great shape (two of the three decks of cards are still wrapped!), minus one yellow wedge. The rules look like they got nommed upon, but intact and readable.
