Does it belong on the Geek?

Ok, I'm knocking on the hornet's nest with a stick. In the end, an entry belongs in the database if the administrators say it does. This isn't a democracy.
But there are some oddball entries on the Geek. I'm sure people have good arguments for why they should or shouldn't be here. Let's hear 'em (but try to keep it civil, thanks).
Also feel free to add your own entries. Try not to add 'Miscellaneous Game Accessory' or 'Unpublished Prototype', as those have established purposes. Oh, and for goodness sake don't add 'Busen Memo' or I will just have to delete it and then slap you around.

The game that inspired this list. Nomic is a game. Although it is more of an intellectual experiment really. Also, it is certainly not a 'board' game, or even a 'card' game. I mean, "Debate Tournament" isn't on the Geek, why is this?

Is this a game? Not only is it solved, it can be simply solved on a sheet of paper by nearly anyone. But just because it is simple doesn't mean it isn't a game.

First of all, this is more of a game system than a game. But that could be said of a lot of games here. Secondly, if we're going to have traditional card games in the database, that opens quite a can of worms. Thirdly, I just wanted to add this picture to my geeklist.
Oh, and what's with people putting this on their 'owned' list? C'mon people. Why don't you put 'Nomic' on your owned list too?

Ok, this probably should be here. Or is it more of a toy than a game? We know toys don't belong in the database, since SuperPlexus got deleted.

It's a book. It's not a game. It is about games, but hey, so is GeekSpeak, and that doesn't have an entry. But there is a 'book' category, so obviously somebody thinks it belongs here.

This is the one I've always wondered about. Parker Brothers, who owned Nerf at that time, made this. And, if archival marketing materials are to be believed, they also produced:
Nerf Unidentified Floppy Object; Nerf Ping Pong; Nerf Table Hockey; Nerfoop;
in addition to the more "traditional" Nerf Football; Nerf Soccer Ball; Nerf Super Ball; and Nerf Ball.
None of these others are in the database ... where does one draw the line between a game and an indoor imitation of a sport?

This is one I don't consider a boardgame. Or maybe I'm just cranky becaue I never could get past hole number 3.

The one item on this list that I agree should not be listed as a "game" on BGG is the book.
I add Werewolf only as devil's advocate based on comments from above items:
The game needs no boards or cards. It is played online here at the Geek much like Nomic is played online (dialog and voating). It is somewhat a game system. I do recall playing the same game on the playground in grade school and it was called "Assassin".

This is a memory game that uses sounds instead of pictures. The electronic device effectively replaces the cards that would normally bear pictures, as well as handling the "shuffling" of the sounds by mapping them to different buttons for each round of play.
Pictures coming soon!

From a comment at the bottom:
Quote: Personally I'd remove ... games that are not playable sitting down at a table You mean, like if there was an entry for horseshoes, or badminton, or baseball, or some other game that relies entirely on physical skills and doesn't even slightly resemble a boardgame? I totally agree.

This is the first one I thought of -- I ran across it in the database the other day. I own the book, so I added it to my collection, but I never would have thought to look for it.
I'm having difficulty coming up with a rationalization for this one. Anyone want to take a shot?
