The Definitive DungeonCrawl GeekList is starting to get fairly definitive I think. Thanks for all of the additions so far. If you have others that have been missed, feel free to add them.
Note: This is not a list of fantasy or horror games. It's a list of DUNGEON games, so don't add a game unless it takes place in a dungeon!

For me this is the essential dungeon crawl game. It's probably also the simplest. That's why I like it. Explore the dungeon, kill the monsters, take the treasure, win the game. Good stuff.

This game is quite a step up from Dungeon. There are a ton of cards, chits, and even a few miniatures. I really like the game, except that you have to constantly consult the rulebook to learn what certain cards and tiles do. The dungeon in this game is ludicrously dangerous. The rulebook says that any character has about a 15% chance of escaping alive. Usually everyone ends up dead.

This is the dungeon game you get if you want the dungeon to take up your entire living room. It's sort of like Dungeonquest, except that the dungeon has multiple levels (hence the need for tons of space). Oh, and you have a decent chance of surviving in this game.
See also Mystic Wood, which is a follow-up to this game that takes place in a forest. http://www.boardgamegeek.com/viewitem.php3?gameid=1152

Dungeoneer, on the other hand, is a tiny little dungeon crawl game that fits in your pocket. Well, until you add dice and glass beads, which are pretty much required to play it. The game has great artwork, but almost every card has a bunch of tiny text on it which can get annoying when it's across the table from you.

HeroQuest introduces a D&D-like GameMaster to preside over the scenarios. He places doors, furniture, and monster miniatures on the board as instructed by the scenario book as the hapless adventurers make their way across the board. Lots of neat toys in this game.

The dungeon crawl meets the miniatures genre. This one has collectible pieces that carry their stats around with them on their bases. Lots of nice monster and treasure miniatures are available for this.

Games Workshop recreates HeroQuest in the Warhammer universe. Is it better or worse?

Kill your fellow wizards and steal their treasures. Maybe some day the fabled new edition will actually be released. Nahhh.

A dungeon for a dungeon! This expansion for DungeonQuest allows you to go one level deeper.

More characters for DungeonQuest. Some of them can actually survive the game unlike the original characters...

A slight reworking of Dungeon with better rules, a bigger board, and miniatures instead of pawns.

A reworking of The New Dungeon, which has no differences except for better artwork.

This is an expansion for Sorcerer's Cave. If filling up your living room wasn't enough, now you can fill your entire house with dungeon tiles.

Adds four new characters and a few new spells to The New Dungeon or The Classic Dungeon. Oh, and includes metal miniatures for all of the original and new characters. A nice package.

Move through the corridors fighting monsters to get to the treasure, and then traverse back out of the dungeon.

This time, instead of cards, the dungeon is made of of tiles, giving it more of a boardgame feel than a cardgame feel (though it stil uses cards). There was a Dungeon Wars 2, but no need to clog up the list with too many similar stuff.

This is one of the more recent dungeon crawl games. Another Tom Jolly creation. I haven't played it but it looks to be a fairly good dungeon crawl AND a decent strategy game which isn't always the case in this catagory.

A different style game than most on the list (fun for the family), but it definitely takes place in a dungeon.

Drakon is a newer addition which to me seems to borrow from German games. Each tile is marked with a simple icon, which tells you what happens when you move your adventurer into it.

And here is an expansion for Drakon which introduces of all things, the Drakon. Imagine that.

This one has a castle (almost a dungeon), cave (again,...), a field and a city, with much nastier critters than Hero Quest, with a time limit driven by the approach of the Dragon! Actually a pretty entertaining game, but derivative. But, the list isn't definitive or terribly crawly without this'n.

In this game, two players set up dungeons on separated boards like those in Battleship. Then each player moves through his opponent's dungeon, battling nasties and collecting treasures. The Japanese influence on the monsters and components is very evident. A cool looking game.

An electronic dungeon game in which the computer generates the layout of the dungeon as players explore it. Nice miniatures.
