Local game groups open to the public
- Columbia Strategic Simulation Society: Meets on alternating Fridays from 7:00pm to 1:00am (during the Fall, Winter and Spring). CSSS is held at Columbia University (Jerome Greene Hall, 435 West 116th Street, Room 304).
- New York City Boardgames & Cardgames Meetup: Meets on 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month from 6:00pm till 4am. This club is currently held at Lucky Jack's, 129 Orchard Street (between Rivington and Delancey), New York, NY 10002, 212-477-6555.
