For some reason I really love this photo. The shadows on those pieces look great, and it looks like it must have been a very nice day. This just really makes me want to play Tikal now!

It was a beautiful day. The sweetest part of the whole deal was I was introducing my 10 year old son to the game and we played on the front porch on the warmest day so far this spring.

Thanks for the link, all the photos turned out really well. Glad your son picked the game up quickly, and I've also definitely had that problem of losing too many units in placing a temple leader and putting myself at a big disadvantage for the rest of the temples. At first you think you've got more than enough units to do everything you want, and running out of them just sort of sneaks up on you I guess.
