So here's my first diagram for one of my gaming aids.

I generally don't like making diagrams so I approached this as if I was doing a project for a client and tried to make it look good. If this format proves to be popular, I'll be glad to put some effort into creating more of these.

Hope this helps enhance your gaming experience.

Regards,

Max

Hi Peter!

Yeah right, I hadn't though about that. You use the metric system I assume? Funny, since I initially went to French school with the metric system. Letter on, I went to English school and there we used the imperial system... Guess I've always associated the imperial system with the English language. Lesson learned

Max

All my gaming aids and models are made from black foamcore. You can find this in most art and craft shops and maybe even in office supply stores.

My most complex project so far for Battlelore:
http://www.boardgamegeek.com/image/248838
I'm working on the diagram for the castle and hope to upload it up here soon.

I use an x-acto knife (or box cutter knife), steel ruler and a cutting mat for the cutting and white bond fast glue (or carpenter's glue) for assembly.

Regards,
Max

Excellent work. Have some and a thumb

I'll put my vote in for metric units for this type of work, but in the end either system works...

This is most certainly on my to do list. How many diagrams have you put out? Is there any one place to find all of your diagrams?

Hi there,

I'm working on a site where I'm putting up all my modified stuff but I'm really not putting the time I'd like to be putting into this and so it progresses quite slowly. If you're curious, check it out here:

Please excuse the broken links and/or missing content.

Maxime

glued using 2 components epoxy?
Also, did you saw / lathe the components. or buy them in that shape?

No epoxy. Just white (carpenters) glue. I'm using foamcore so epoxy would burn right through zombie

Cutting is done with an x-acto knife and steel ruler on a cutting board.

You have got to make more of these... like a diagram for Race for the Galaxy and the Shadows over Camelot. These are tight.
