I know its a joke, and a great one at that... But what a damn good idea, for so many games.

How could this mechanism be added?

It could be setting a timer for each persons turn, but I suppose you would have a minimum. Like a minimun of 1 minute 30 seconds, and the first person to take longer than that gets it.

Any other ideas?

I should give this to my husband for just about every game we play.
I love him, but sometimes his turns take too damn long.

I know what you mean! For some players a turn becomes a full time job

Or a peaceful slice of a lifetime passtime... you know, like, because gaming is a LEISURE activity?

I highly, HIGHLY recommend printing and laminating a stack of these. They come in really handy on game night!

I printed this out and mounted it. It has become a regular part of every game of Settlers, passed around as a not-so-subtle hint.

Ahh, someone trying to level the playing field between those of us who STRATEGIZE and those who don't...

I will surely keep whining about the misspelling of "whinning".

But I need Biggest Whiner card in the correct colors and proportions of a Settlers set. Actually I prefer this version of Longest Turn:

It came second, it's clearly an imitation of this picture, it has only 10% of the thumbs, but I like the color and style.

Also, with the other card, how would one measure 'yawns' from drowsiness vs boredom vs inebriation?
