Nice Job. It has to feel good to have that done. I am just finishing up my Descent figures. I will be using an assembly line like you've done to get them completed quicker.

Nice work, Jim!

Nice of you to include some free advertising for Games Workshop.

I wish I had your dedication and/or energy, or whatever it takes to complete what is, for me, a mammoth task. Your end result is so impressive that I'm thinking about it. Darn it!

Mark.

A lot of people knock GamesWorkshop on the grounds that they are expensive and I have to admit that they charge £2.25 each for those little 0.4floz pots of paint, ($4 US for 12ml for the non-English speakers amongst you) but I find that the quality and consistency is well worth paying for. If I run out of blood red, then the next pot of blood red will exactly match the first.

Many thanks for the comments; now go ahead and do it, it's easier than you think!

Totsiens,

Jim

My BattleLore figures are in the mail to you; given your current schedule, when do you think I should expect them to be returned???

Truly Magnificent!

My first thought was "Wow, all that Citadel (GW) paint must have been expensive!" But it's still the best paint.

I don't know about "best". I know too many excellent painters that swear by Vallejo.

Regardless, great work on the BattleLore set!!!

Of course it is a highly subjective opinion, perhaps "best for my purposes" would be a better description.

The only problem I have with Vallejo is the squeeze mechanism but, then again, this is the reason so many people swear by them.

They're too "fiddley" for me too. I actually paint most of my minitures with Delta CreamCoat from Michaels since I'm cheap (@ $1 for three times as much paint as GW). They also have a broader color range if you don't like mixing colors.

Unfortunately they do dry a bit faster so its necessary to make good use of your water jar, but beyond that I've gotten suprisingly good results with cheap paint!
