Hmm... interesting. I thought you'd go with something more chaotic and combative. Something like the cover for the new Titan.

Still it is nice!

Thought was exactly not to lead you to believe that´s a wargame like Magic. If I made a war scene you would be disappointed - maybe.

Well the art is relatively nice, but the text is horrible. It reminds me of Caylus mixed with some weird font someone found from the 1980s.

Huh. I like the font. It was the first thing that caught my eye.

Wow, it does! Similar name and similar box cover. I don't know if it was intentional, or is even a good thing...

Looks good, but why are soldiers wearing different uniforms standing peacefully next to each other, watching over a town? Is this a medieval Star Trek expedition force?

It's probably a scene from one of my game nights where it has become all too popular for even the worst of enemies to all band together against me.

In the past, warlords often array troops from their subjects as they did not have enough own permanent soldiers. So the thought was to show the warlord (and a representative knight) and some of his subjects. And please be aware of the fact that often infantry had no consistent uniform.

Hope this helps.

It is certainly a game the decisionmakers should have recognised.
Personally I don't think I would have bought the game based upon the box, if I didn't knew the game beforehand.

But it isn't the first time a graphics artist have delivered subpar work because the game manager hasn't prevented it.

Well, the box art has struck again.

I suggested the game to a couple looking to expand their gaming to something outside of Settlers of Catan. They looked at the box, and despite my glowing praise of the game, decided to go with Toledo instead. Oh well...

I actually ignored the game for a long time precisely because the title font is so horrible. Every time I looked at it I wanted to look at something else. I heard some good things, and tonight I played a store copy. surprise Wow, what a fantastic game! The game is as thoroughly excellent as the title font is thoroughly horrid.
