Do they understand why Martin Wallace ruins the majority of his games with a teaspoon of poorly placed chance?
I'm beginning to think it may just be his own personal taste. I've found the same thing that many of his games are very deep and strategic, yet seem to hinge awkwardly on some random element that throws everything off. My theory is that Mr. Wallace is an adept enough designer to know how to implement chance the way he wants it, and just likes games that have odd random elements.
