That's some tough luck for the Pug dog. His aces and kings lost to a full house, 3's over 8's! I'll bet he took a big swig of that JD to drown his sorrows after this picture was shot.

I just noticed that this is the same situation, to the suit, as is depicted on the cover of Sklansky and Malmuth's Hold 'em Poker for Advanced Players.

I wonder if that board/hands predates the book? Or is that its origin?
