Do you see that cavalryman just above the "FL" in Florida? That's my great great great grandfather Josiah Varn. He was killed 25 NOV 1863 at Missionary Ridge...at that critical tri-state rail junction in Tennessee. He left a young widow and two children...my great great grandfather (age 4) and my great great aunt (age 2). Times were hard.
