And there's our Essen promo bits...glass damage tokens..
Nope. After we published Space Alert we found that transparent tokens are much nicer and people really like them. But problem with glass is that it is very expensive. So it is possible to have it as a bonus for Essen but not in regular game. But we want to have games as nice as possible so we tried very hard to find way how to do it. And we found one: these cubes are from plastic (made in Czech Republic, not China). So they will be in every box!

How should the chinese air come into a czech factory?

The Czechs are importing Chinese air (probably via Poland... )
There is a chinese worker in the czech factory, usually making sound examples for the box fart and the surplus product is used for chinese air bubbles in czech plastic cubes.
Simple as it can be
Warning: don´t try to break the cube to set the air free, it may be hazardous !

Yes, it might light up your dongeon if there is a spark nearby
I also build/collect 'luftwaffe 1946' type scale models (but also allied & other types). When I found I was missing a part from a Czechmodels resin kit, I emailed the manufacturer in the Czech Republic, he said (and did) send a replacement part free, buat also offered to trade any number of other kits for whisky... on the grounds it'd probably end up more expensive (not to mention what Customs might say about it!), I declined...

So after looking in the rules book, the imps tokens look way different than what's pictured here (wooden shapes). Are the plastic imps Essen only? Or is the rule book not depicting them correctly?

Plastic imp figures will be in every and each copy of Dungeon Lords as well as plastic red damage counter cubes. The reason there's not plastic cube and plastic imp photo or 3D model in rules is more than simple - time issues. The rules went to printer this Saturday morning after long marathon of layouting, I used what I could to speed it up. If I could I'd change this and some details here and there, but sometimes, sometimes, it's just not possible.
I'd like to apologize, I skimmed the rules and was not aware of the 'Minion' tokens. I thought they were placeholder for the Imps! silly me. I was thinking along the lines of Dungeon Keeper where there were only Imps and Monsters.
