Haha, if only it were up to me!

I believe the hope is to have this released early fall, after the Polish expansion.

Is there a release schedule available somewhere? Even without ETAs it would be fun to see all the titles that are lined up in the CoH line. Academy Games seem hell bent on ruining me.

The last I saw for a release schedule is based on an ad Uwe made for a magazine.

In it, it said:

Price of Honour: June 2010
Guadalcalal: September 2010
First Men In: November 2010.

Of course, I'm not sure if I've ever seen a board game get released on its advertised date, but that's the current line up. :-)

I was mostly concerned with the order of the releases, so this is perfect, thanks. What about Sturm Europa!, where does that fit in the schedule? Oh, and what about that solitaire Conflict of Heroes entry?

Uwe or Mike can probably say a lot more about Sturm Europa than I can, as I'm fairly out of the loop on that one at the moment, but as far as I can tell, the game has had some major design changes made over the last while, and is still being playtested and tweaked, so there's no real release date.

As far as the solitaire entry goes, I know nothing about it except what Uwe's said about it on the forums here (which isn't much.) So I'm sorry, I don't really have much else to offer!

Many others have asked the same question. I think Uwe is looking into it.

I like the painting and also looking forward to buy this title, but like Jan I also ask: Will the box design be changed?

The well known look&feel with AtB and SoS is already good and the only advantage with the new design is that with the grey design there is more space for the painting. Disadvantage is, that compared to AtB and SoS now there is the writing included in the painting.

I just a matter of personal taste I think, but for me I really hope that the coming boxes will stay with consistent blue design.

(Maybe there can be a color code for different theatres of war or different wars...blue for WW2-Europe, grey for WW2-Pacific, green for Vietnam and so on...but that is just an idea - not even sure if I would like it)

Kai, we have the same taste, but I am getting a lot of feedback from stores that want us to differentiate the boxes somewhat so that they stand out more in the store environment.
But nothing is finalized yet.

I like this idea, I think it worked great for GMT's Commands and Colors boxes, each one had a seperate trim and they look good on the shelf.

I know in some countries stripes are V -shaped (or even W-shaped in Ireland I believe), but neither participants of guadalcanal had that, USMC has them ^-shaped, and the IJA had bars with stripes.

The stripes have been removed from the final artwork. See the Price of Honour box for a better idea of the new layout.

On Veteran's Day, we look back, often times with pride, at the wars bravely fought by our countrymen, our neighbors and even those in our own bloodline. I personally take a minute to remember and reflect. I enjoy war games too, but it was and still is a solemn matter. In a greater sense, we can even bridge the gap between seas and country lines with a moment of reverent respect for all those who have given their time, their energy, their sweat, their blood, their life and their families for...
