I think it's a tad bit bigger, otherwise that would have to be a REALLY small table. I can fit the entire board diagonally across my grandmother's TINY coffee table, but that table seems to have a fair amount of leg room so I think it's bigger.
Perhaps its an illusion because the cards are ALSO a lot bigger, in fact the proportions aren't the same, the cards are much bigger while the board is only slightly bigger...
