Russia got toally beaten up by Japan. SCW still ongoing at outbreak of General War, slightly in Republican favour. Denmark, Greece, Iraq, Portugal and Span. Nats in Axis camp, Austria Hungary and Norway all pro-axis. Poland, Span Rep and Yugo in Allied camp, Turkey pro-Allied. US entry at -1.
I would have thought that had I carried this into a WiF 5th edition game, the Allies wouldve had an advantage. Although the Russians werebadly damaged, the Germans didn't have as much influence as historically and Japan had been bloodied quite badly by the Chinese.
