Z-Man Games, Inc. is a publisher of games. The company was formed by New Yorker, Zev Shlasinger, in 1999 to bring back Shadowfist. With the success of Shadowfist, Z-Man Games published its first B-Movie card game, Grave Robbers from Outer Space, and from that point on it was decided to continue to make fun, innovative games.
Since 2001, Z-Man Games has published the Origins Vanguard Award winner, Warchon, a portable game that uses a book as the battlefield and bookmarks as the playing pieces that move and fight on this battlefield.
Cartoon Action Hour, the 1980s action cartoon RPG, was published in 2002 and there are three supplements available. Ideology: The War of Ideas is our first abstract strategy game, and our first in a line of board games.
We have also started publishing English language versions of European games, like Primordial Soup (Ursuppe) and Santiago. But we still do original games like Parthenon and Castle Merchants.
We also publish other game-related items like Baby's First Mythos and our Dark-Platypus line of gaming accessories.
2005 marked the year where we released a plethora of games, both card and board, and 2006 will continue the trend.
After all, games are our business and our pleasure.
