Been trying out Race for the Galaxy on the Genie Game Server. It takes forever if you are playing with other people. And the constant refreshing is really annoying. As soon as I finish the two games I am playing (should be next week sometime) I don't think that I will bother again.
Good to try though and bears watching especially if they make some improvements.

Another great episode Neil. As well as the video podcast and the newest View from the Veranda. Henry is quite the character.

Just letting you know that I appreciate using this forum just for the fact that BGG is one of the sites that I view daily so I always pop in to see if there are any new posts in the guild. Just laziness on my part actually.

Keep up the good work and I'll keep listening and watching.

A lot of people speak highly of the game and it has been reviewed on a couple of podcasts that I listen to. I don't go in much for the collectible nature of this game and looking at the demo set at the game shop I felt that some of the print on the bases to small for my old man eyes. I also am not a huge fan of the prepainted aspect especially when the quality appears so poor.

All of this is first look/impressions and listening to reviews about the "innovative" mechanics (which sound like the part of the game that would hook me). I hope you enjoy the game and keep us posted on your impressions of the game.

I do agree with you that the price is right.
