Just a quick note of thanks to John, Andy and Peter who made time to visit the all day games event at The Wigston Liberal club in Leicester.

Hi John

Thanks for posting this.
Time is pressing on and I need to be firming up my plans for the tournaments.
I know 3 of your club attended the Games Expo C&C:Ancients touney and mentioned they might be interested in a follow up event some time later in the year. Well folks, this is IT!

Can you let me know numbers asap. I'll accomodate as many as want to join in (for either event).

If we get sufficient players for both I'll run the two concurrently. If not I may have to abandon one of them and push all players into just the one other event. The front runner out of the two at the moment is Memoir.

Of course there will still be ample opportunity to play some opening gaming of the game(s) if you'd prefer casual rather than tournament play.

Keep me posted on likely numbers.

Leicester Wargames Society is holding an all-day session on Sunday 27th September. Starts at 10:00 prompt - M44 and CC:A will be organised as tournaments - other open play will also be going on.

Currently the M44 and CCA tournaments are on the website as having 6 places left each - Barry Ingram is running them and he assures me he can accommodate more - so these are not fixed limits.

There is a charge of £4 if your playing in a tournament and £3 if going along for the open play only.

I'll definitely be there, and happy to give lifts from Cov. Add a post here if you are coming along.
