When did we stop playing those big games at the end of the night anyway? And why? I used to love it when we started with light fillers to kick the night off and had the big fun silliness at the end for everybody still standing. It was kind of a hallmark of the club in a way.

I recall reading your session reports for the Isleworth Boardgamers, and how you've had fun with Nanuk. Are you still playing? Would you be interested in play testing an expansion? I'm putting together a few mini-expansions of 4-5 cards each that can be combined with the base game to change up the way the game plays.

If you're interested, I'll send you pdfs of the expansion cards that you'd need to print and cut out, and a feedback form to fill out and send back. If the expansion is published, you and your group would receive credit as play testers.

I'll be there. Seems that I can pick up games from home on my way to the club, at the cost of adding 15 minutes to my journey compared to just going straight from work.

Thanks, no problem - I did plan to bring it London On Board next Tuesday for our dice-themed evening, but I am sure I can find some other dice games to bring to that.

I cannot come to Isleworth next week (friends from Denmark visiting on Wednesday), but I will see if I can pop in and pick up the game, or maybe one of the LOBsters can pick it up for me. Or do you happen to live in Richmond/Sheen/Kew?

I've run through the solo scenario a few times and I'm enjoying it quite a bit - sort of like Dominion but with Human interaction and a lot more tactical choice as cards frequently get trashed back to their draw piles.

Looking forward to trying this multiplayer if anyone is up for it on Wednesday? Quick to play and you can use the scenarios to vary the amount of interaction if direct conflict is not your bag.

Plenty to keep us occupied tonight by the look of it!

I will have a newly acquired Airships from the maths trade with me, it's a nice light filler a bit like Kingsburg but with less Orcs and more gigantic balloons. Yes, that is correct, I am bringing a Euro to club night :surprise:

I also have starfarers from the Maths Trade for Noel as Mark cannot make it tonight - I understand that James has made arrangements with Alan so I have nothing to pick up for Epsom or Woking.

Scott - if you are coming please can you remember to bring that lovely big box of plastic goodness for me? :)

Otherwise I will look forward to once again ending the Targaryen line for good...

Got Martell, Greyjoy, a 2nd Core plus a couple of additional chapter packs. The time may have been added to by the fact that I was trying to focus on watching The Killing at the same time. Sleeving and trying to follow subtitles does not mix.

Also, there was a little bit of deckbuilding thrown in there too. Am sure that Dan will soon be having just as much fun with this new Lord of the Rings :)

Have played (and enjoyed) Hamburgum before and would be happy to do so again. Also, more than up for Fresco or Manhattan Project.
