Reply: Bakugan Battle Brawlers:: General:: Re: More than 2 gate cards in play?

by Michael Becker

	Hey everyone,

The rules for the first edition of Bakugan vs the current ruleset are vastly different. In fact, some cards released in the first year of the game will not make any sense without those rules (which are inadequate and confusing imo).

What I have found is that Bakugan works much better with more gate cards in play. It is no fun when each player rolls four times and doesn't get a marble to pop open. The game is all about them landing on a metal gate card and opening.

My suggestion would be to develop your own house rules for the game. Have everyone use at least two gate cards and have the winner of any battle replace the one they remove from the board.

I haven't checked the latest ruleset, but I found that by playing our own way increased our enjoyment of the game immensely.

Take care,
Michael
