Hmmm. I've visited the Z-Man Games website, but I can't seem to find the Z-deck there. Is it already sold out, or am I simply having a "blond moment" (despite my hair being dark brown) and not noticing it? :cry:

I ordered mine from Funagain with a gift certificate. I wasn't supposed to get the Z-Deck (the description explicitly said "No Z-Deck"). Imagine my surprise when I opened it up and there it was.

Not that I'm complaining.

When we play with the Z-Deck we:
:d10-1: Remove 2 cards, from memory and since I don't have the deck in front of me my memory may be faulty, The Mail Coach Driver and Rat Catcher
:d10-2: Usually do a deal, something like 5 E-Deck, 2 Z-Deck to each player.

I find the Z deck mixes best with a raging fire. Shuffle it up with some flames and you're ready to go.

Z Deck is a gimmick deck and is rather unbalanced. But I suppose if you are going to play with it: everyone gets one occupation and one MI card.

I guess that way if its going to be unbalanced, it will be unbalanced all around.

The O Deck seems to be more 'regular' as in playable. But I'd still give everyone one of each... just in case...

But that's my opinion.

I'm waiting on this and the O deck from Z-man games. (shout outs due)
I'm wondering if anyone has played this extensively, both these decks appear to be too small to play anything other than 2 player with. Should I shuffle them in with the E deck. Does anyone have any opinions on this ? Or are they better with the I ?

If I have played the 'Clay Mixer' card (Whenever one of your people's actions gives you only Clayo, you receive 2 additional Clay', and I play the 'Starting Player and/or 1 Minor Improvement' action, using the 'Building Materials' minor improvement, my action has resulted in only Clay = I should get 2 additional Clay.

Is this how people interpret this card?

Bess, just send payment via Paypal to his listed email address with short note of what's it's for and I think I "checked/selected" goods at some point during my paypal entry. Just so you know, he posted recently saying he won't be sending any out due to him going to a convention or something, forget the show and the date.

EDIT: He's going to Origins, June 24-30.

Has anyone gotten them this way yet? It seems weird that they aren't selling them like all the other items you can put in your cart. I don't mean to be overly reassured by clicking "Add to Cart" buttons, but...

This card has actually come up several times while we played. The person who uses it doesn't necessarily end up winning. I wouldn't say it's a powerful card as much as it is annoying. It just makes you think 1 or 2 steps ahead, which isn't bad. But it does make people delay the game while they (as previously mentioned) "start little equations in their head."

For us, it's just an inconvenience and we take it out of the game completely.
