Storage solution: ditched the box insert, printed and built ColtsFan76's tuckboxes, and bought three stacks of four screw-top bead canisters. In a pure fluke, the boxes of cards, when on their edges as shown here, are almost exactly the same height as the

Hipsu wrote:
So what about the plot card "I could not save him." then? It reads:

"Floyd gains one good baggage for each different religious location he enters each turn."

If he starts at St. Theresa, moves out, and comes back there, does he gain one good baggage as it would be the first religious location he enters?

I suppose so. Every movement includes the concept of entering a space (areas needing warrants take longer to enter if you don't have one). So he'd gain one good baggage. If Floyd left St. Theresa and never entered a new religious location, he'd get nothing (since there is nothing new learned THAT DAY; any benefit or meditation from St. Theresa presumably was gained the PREVIOUS DAY.

If the wording was "gain one good baggage for each different religious location he has been in", it would still mean only one good baggage, since leaving and re-entering doesn't make it a new, different location. It counts only once. So, over the lifetime of the plot-card, point counting probably works out the same whether you count entering or leaving.

Yup, page 39 bottom (** note) says "Note that NPC favors gain all VP bonuses for each type of favor they show on their token (e.g. a Mr. Li favor gains the VP bonuses for all four types of normal favors)."

Since conspiracy puzzles can interconnect the four "arms" leading from the central "eye" of the conspiracy and link to many different groups on the outer edges, the amount of Victory Point bonuses could get pretty wild. It seems to me you're better off keeping a "multi" NPC Favor Token since it will cover all of the possible Favor bonuses and bring 2, 3, even 4 VPs.

Thread: Android :: Rules:: Raymond's Plot [Haunted by the Past]

by kohee

	hello,

this is my 2nd game and I'd like to ask about Raymond's plot Haunted by the Past...

it is written on the card that he gets a good baggage each time he sacrifices a piece of evidence

does that mean that Raymond can sacrifice a piece of evidence already placed on a suspect
or
Raymond has to follow a lead and then he chooses the option of placing evidence but sacrifices it instead rather than placing it on a suspect?

I guess the second option is the valid rule since the first one is too powerful. am I right?

thanks in advance

It isn't that they are told this is something it is not, it is that the games theme features private detectives who do very little detecting... the complaint is that the mechanics do not mesh well with the theme. **So far as I understand**

	Wonderful review.

Should have written your review in a more confusing, intangible direction; then I would have totally agreed with it. Right now, I just almost completely agree. The reason I "almost" completely agree, is that my group of 4 could not actually make it through a second week. After 4 hours of Android, and after I lost my entire last day due to a "take that" card that I had no way of avoiding, we packed it up and all went off to commit detergent suicide.

What I really like is the light and dark system that gives it that "Noir" feel. Except, apparently there are different degrees of good and evil within this black and white world; like real life. So, it's like a film noir, but with shades of gray thrown in. So, it's completely normal and serves no purpose that a couple baggage counters couldn't fix. Why the hell can I ruin someone else's life as an invisible third-party, but then still be able to complete my "good baggage" objective?

In the end, I think it's the best simulation of staring at a gameboard in confusion, that I've ever played. You can almost feel like you're actually "playing" a game.
