I know it's been a while folks, but we're finally doin' new shows again. We've changed the format a bit, to make it more engaging for everyone. We have three 'guests' this time, and we will likely see more of these fellas going forward too. Mark Jackson (not Mark Johnson), Doug Garrett, and Ward Batty will be contributing their considerable wit and knowledge (well, in Wardo's case it's mostly a question of wit, but you get the idea) to the show going forward. Also, the shows will be decidedly shorter. The old format isn't completely gone, but you should expect shorter, punchier shows... Enjoy!
This show is completely about Elasund: The First Settlers.

Yep that was 12 Power Grid maps back to back over two days. Worth doing, but possibly not in such a concentrated burst.
Ooh yes, now a little to the left - my nose is itchy. No, no the other left! Now what colour is 12 supporter badge going to be I wonder?

1. I thought it was Princess Aldie…? Kidding, kidding.
2. This is awesome, I have been listening to these things constantly since discovering The Geek. I actually look forward to driving around now.
3. Even the fiancé likes them, she says she might even grace BGG with her presence because you guys "sound fun."
4. I like the rambling… what's this about "punch?"

I'm new to iTunes and just subscribed to BoardGameSpeak and was wondering how notifications are made when new episodes are available? Does iTunes check and provide notice or should I watch BGG?
Thanks,
Bob

Hmm, iTunes just decided to re-subscribe to all the old episodes. Strangely, the times on these are altered as well. What's up?

If you subscribe to a podcast in ITunes, each new episode should automatically download into your ITunes library on your computer (assuming that it is online), you don't need to do anything else (except hook up your IPod if you want to listen on the go).

Gotta say, I'm *really* not a fan of this new format. I much preferred the old format, with a guest and an open discussion of the projects they are involved in. Instead, you have a show where 5 different people spent 43 minutes all saying the same thing about the same game.
If you are serious about this new format, please reduce the number of guests to one person, and cover more than one game that you're reviewing. I always saw this podcast as the one that could land the interesting interviews, and was much more freeform.. now it sounds a lot like all the rest.. it just doesn't do the review format as well as the other podcasts.
Bring back the old format! Please!
