A frist outing for this game played three handed between JamesII, Timothy and Keith.
At the start everything seemed quite straightforward. Choose one of your pieces put it on the board. From time to time select a scoring target chip as it becomes clear what colours are being placed on the board. But as it fills up the really challenging aspects of this game steadily come into play. The rule that a piece can only be placed abutting another colour if it touches one of its own makes life increasingly difficult as the board fills up. Also the rule that a piece can only be detached from a mass of its own colour if it ends up next to one of its own colour adds to the challenges late in the game. As Keith found out to his cost if a mass of,say, 4 blocks is increased to 5 late in thegame then it can be very difficult and often impossible to reduce it back to to four if there is no where to slide the fifth piece to. Clearly JamesII and Timothy had a much better grasp on this game as the final scores were a deeply emmbarrassing Timothy 63, JamesII 55 and Keith 0.
