My best yet. I'm so proud of myself. Next time, the top 40!

As a sidenote, one of the many wrong paths I went down, I started to spell out the word 'fart' and said to myself 'this is getting interesting quick'. 'course the rest was gibberish so that was that. But a funny coincidence.

I got to finding the third of every green. I tried the third letter of every word that has a green letter in it. Tried the third letter after each green letter. I'm a little confused. Please help.

Arg. I get through to the green third clue and think it's pointing towards words that have a green letter as the third letter in the word, which gets me LAST EVERY PERSON, which gets me nothing. Even looking at the word grid, the words bounded by these three don't make anything. Am I going the wrong way with my interpretation of green third?

Spoiler (click to reveal)
Look to words found in step 1, and list any that contain green letters. Then, look to the 3rd letter in each of those words. Should come up with 6 letters that will anagram to the answer.

An ash I know, Yggdrasil its name. With water white is the great tree wet; thence come the dews that fall in the dales. Green by Urth's well does it ever grow.

Look at each set of numbers.

Spoiler (click to reveal)
The first ones are between 1 and 4 (each word at the top has four letters), while the second ones are consecutively numbered from 1 to 10.

I'm still unclear on how to apply the 10 sets of numbers. Am I supposed to get a 10 letter anagram out of this? All I get is a bunch of gibberish.

I have:
Spoiler (click to reveal)

GOLF STAR
LAID RAIL
BATS WARD
EVIL TOOL
STOP TIME

Do I take the 1st letter of the 6th word? Is that S or W?
