Three unfeatured puzzles today by
1) dajagr - fractal 23
2) workerbee - red background
3) workerbee - baseball

for 1. dajagr

I have tried filling in the XOXOXXOOXO string with anything.
the only thing I find that even fits is MANDLEBROT - but have been informed that the background means nothing.

23 could either be BC or W that doesn't yield anything that allows you to fill in the xo string

23 is the atomic number of vanadium

W is the symbol for tungsten

I've tried applying all kinds of numbers to the paint chip names - but haven't found anything that looks promising...

Me too. And, given that the colors are ROYGBIV, I've tried spectrum, prism, ...

What could the zeroes in those numbers refer to?

I've tried applying each of the numbers individually to the names of the colors

e.g. the last numbers 6063060
and skipped the 0's thinking "blank"

That word "pardon" keeps grabbing my attention. Any thoughts about it?

added the individual numbers of the keys together, and then modulo each individual sum to get vqvqju

For what it's worth, I believe 3 of the colors are mislabeled:

I agree that those three colors are mislabeled, and the error is perpetuated in the solution explanation. But it's solvable the way it is.
