Thanks to everyone who commented on my post last week with your top five filler games - this has really helped with my selections.
This week I would like to ask you all what your top 5 2 player games are. I have a few potential 2 player games which are on my probable list, but your suggestions of your personal top 5 would be most appreciated.

Recently I'm playing a lot of games with just two players, even though the games themselves aren't 2-player games.
So these past few weeks my top 5 two-player games would have to be
1) Ticket to Ride:Europe 2) Magic:The Gathering 3) LOTR:Confrontation 4) Lost Cities 5) Settlers of Catan
and 6th would be Heroscape with the kids (ages 8 and 9)
I hope that helps... Simon

In no particular order, these are games my wife and I, or my friends and I enjoy regualrly as two player games:
Battle Line Lost Cities Lord of the Rings: The Confrontation Castle Thurn and Taxis Reef Encounter Starfarers of Catan (with a variant here on BGG) Elfenland (with a variant here on BGG) Elasund Torres Fairy Tale Citadels
Some of these are better than others, but these are all games I highly enjoy whether two player or otherwise.
Good luck!
Cheers!
Giles.
