The best images as chosen by our judges will win prizes! You can enter the contest as many times as you wish. Any games left after prizes are distributed to winning entries will be distributed randomly among people who submit their name for the contest.
Each winner will receive either Voltage or Desert Bazaar (determined randomly). We are giving away 16 Copies of Voltage and 24 Copies of Desert Bazaar.
Entries must be made before 12 Midnight, December 12th, 2006.
You don't have to upload an image to participate, just click on the "I Agree" and you'll automatically get entered.

Because it'll 'become' the 2nd "inquest" for such thusly, then, can we 'get' a "Micro Machines Badge" for performing THIS?

Will the pictures be posted at the site here, or will we have to wait until the contest is over to see them?
I'm really looking forward to see what people do!

No, just a starting theme - Undiscovered "Classic" Boardgames.

This is a very nice theme indeed. I really hope to find the time to participate - I had instant (much to complicated) ideas when reading this.
But one question: If the best pictures will win the prizes, why can you participate without uploading a picture - doesn´t make sense to me if you can not win...?

Any chance on getting some clarification on what the heck that means?

Sorry, I had to submit the same image twice because the quality of the first submission was too low to see the "detail".

I would think that the whole point is to come up with an interesting, funny and unique interpretation of Undiscovered "Classic" Boardgames. To clarify it now would undermine what they're trying to do, IMHO.

Hey...it looks like some of the pictures are gone. When you click browse all I don't see some of the early submissions. Looks like anything before pic7 is not being shown. Is it a paging issue?

From the rules:

So, if you "just submit your name", you could get something if there aren't many entries.

Bah. I submitted one, then realized an error, fixed it, and submitted again. Maybe my 'first' one (pic34) should be removed?
I forgot to fix the overlap on the right edge (I wanted the wall in front of the sundae, as below)

Hmmm... My entry doesn't seem to be displaying properly. The thumbnail is okay, but enlarging it doesn't work.

So, is the idea of a Photoshop Contest (something I'd never heard of before) to be as rude and obscene as you can get by with. A lot of these pictures would never be allowed on BGG in the regular picture sections.
Don't get me wrong. I'm not a prude or anything, but these images are so far outside the BGG mainstream that I'm beginning to question the merits of the contest.
