Gary Schapp has posted a playtest of Richard Berg's upcoming Mexican-American War and Maximilian Adventure tactical level game, "Battles with the Gringos," over at Consimworld:
Battles to be covered are:
1) Puebla- May 5, 1862. French vs. Mexicans on the "Cinco de Mayo."
2) Contreras- Aug. 20, 1847. Americans guided by Robert E. Lee surprise the Mexicans under Santa Ana.
3) Palo Alto- May 8, 1846. Fought on Texas soil. First battle of Mexican-American War.
4) Resaca de la Palma- May 9, 1846. A follow up battle to Palo Alto
This game module is available for preorder from GMT Games and requires rulebook, charts and components from their previously published "Gringo"
I just finished the scenario Puebla, I have posted a question(S) under Battle with the Gringos.
Think you can take a look at it?
