PitchCar Extension

Game Overview

PitchCar Extension includes pieces enabling you to expand the track, add new curves, and build tunnels or jumps. It does not include new variants in the rules but does include designs for 9 different tracks from the original PitchCar.

For a review on gameplay and track rules, please consult the PitchCar page on BGG. This review will solely cover what is in the PitchCar Extension box.

Game Components

PitchCar Extension includes 2 straight track sections, 4 double trajectory curves and one tight curve track section. It also includes more red plastic railing and pieces to make a jump, tunnel or both.

The track sections are the same high quality wooden track sections as provided with the original PitchCar.

Game Play

PitchCar Extension definitely increases the play value of PitchCar and the amount of track variations that can be created. The new corners add a nice element for passing and increase the feeling of racing intensity. The jumps, well the jumps speak for themselves, when could a jump ever be a bad thing?

My Rating

PitchCar Extension increases the fun, intensity and social value of the game exponentially. Good for friends, good for family and kids, good for game nights at 0300 AM when the booze has long kicked in (yes!! PitchCar is a great drinking game). I thought that PitchCar was relatively expensive (see my PitchCar review) and you can expect a similar price for PitchCar Extension, but together they are well worth it. PitchCar Extension has made this a regular warm up game, filler and closer for our gaming sessions. Without PitchCar Extension, it is PitchCar in need of repair.

Thanks for reading my review and enjoy the game.

I purchased pitchcar and the expansion based on the favorable reviews here on the Geek. The game is great fun and the expanion adds some very interesting pieces.
My only problem was that the expansion was missing 2 of the long rails. I e-mails Ferti over a week ago and they never even responded. angry
So now I end up with two pieces I can't use when setting up the track.

All the components came with mine. Hopefully they will sort it out for you. We tend to not use all the railing to make the tracks a little more difficult.
