Europe Engulfed has set a couple of personal firsts after 25 years of wargaming. EE is my first block game and the first WWII Europe strategic campaign game that I enjoy playing. Once the system us familiar, the entire war can be played out in 10-14 hrs. No doubt about it, this is a keeper.

Attractions:
Low counter count - Germany's army is represented by a max of 78 blocks, usually it is 40-60 range.

The rules are well illustrated and enjoy superior support by the designers. The game graphics are excellent.

The game system includes everything expected in a WWII Europe game: u-boats & anti-sub warfare, lend-lease, Allied bombing campaign, flak, figher escorts, defensive fighters, elite troops, and more. Yet the game plays smoothly and is quickly learned.

I've played this game with 5 kids and the all have loved it. A great game for an introducing teens to wargaming, but probably to much for younger people.

I'm buying a second copy and putting it away for the day I wear out my first!
