I've posted rules to a variant on the old card game of "War!" to my website.

I'm calling the game "Trench", and it adds in some positional and recon elements to the game along with a slight tweak to the battle rules.

You can find the PDF Rules here: http://www.mwgames.com/_ufiles/Trench_CardGame.pdf

Enjoy!

You think I can put this one as its own entry in the database? Or does it best fit here under War variants?

Also, has anyone tried the "Long" game ... or just the standard/short game?

I haven't played the game, but after reading through the rules I'd say it definitely warrants its own BGG entry. We can always use more interesting 2-player card games!

For anyone who finds there way to this thread, the game *was* given its own game entry: Trench
