Crapadocious -- I didn't know that Karen Allen would be reprising her role as Marion. Sweetz.

Awesome.

When I first read your subject line my initial thought was Sports Center- and I never watch that.

Heh. I'm so hopeful that this movie gets done right and not become a cliche'd embarrassment to the series. It has been the one movie Harrison Ford has been wanting to do for the last 15 years.

I remember when Raiders played in San Jose for over a year. A YEAR!

She looks great there. She must be at least 50 too. I'm just glad that what's her name from Temple of Doom (Spielbergs wife) isn't in it.

Actually, I heard she may have very small cameo, which is ok.

YES!!!
We've been seeing too little of her. One of my favorite actresses.

Ya know... that Shia Lebouff (sp) kid is a pretty good actor. I can totally see him being this generations next Tom Hanks.

I admit I used to watch Even Steven's on the Disney Channel with my kids - and loved it.

H. Ford exercises pretty good judgement in his selection of scripts. I'd guess that we're all pretty safe with our high hopes on this one.

I haven't seen it, so I'll trust your assessment and offer an amendment: H. Ford generally exercises good judgement in scripts. Another actor with generally good judgement is Johnny Depp, but even he had his Secret Window and Ninth Gate moments.

Them's fightin' words! The Ninth Gate is an awesome movie.

As for the new Indiana Jones, my hope is that it does for the original trilogy what Episode I did for Star Wars. No, wait--I don't hope that at all.

I live there too. You may not have seen me though, as I am rather small, wiry, and furry, and tend to blend ini with the coconut eating monkeys.

Karen Allen was completely out of acting when she was contacted to reprise her role. She was living in Massachusetts running her own company and teaching acting at a liberal arts college.

Yeah, she runs some kind of (organic-wool/alpaca) knitted-clothes store in Great Barrington, Mass, near the New York border.

Wow. OK, I admit that I only watched the first third of Ninth Gate, and maybe I was in a bad mood or something. I'll check it out again.
