Well... okay I had a few guns as well.
My Chainsaw Warrior had 6 equipment points, which were spent as follows. Blaster, Auto Rifle, Jumpsuit, Chainsaw (YES!) and of couse the Laser Lance.
As for stats he had, +1 Marksmanship, HandToHand 12, Reflexes 10, Wounds 14.
So with a little trepidation I kicked in the door ready to blast the beaties. Room by Room I found...
Dump : Took 1 extra rifle clip Empty : Zombie 6 : Blaster shot missed, used the Chainsaw Zombie 7 : Blaster shot Empty : Zombie 10 : Blaster shot Zombie 7 : Blaster miss, used the Chainsaw Trap : Locked door, chainsaw failed to open it, had to fins another way round Zombie 10 : Blaster miss used Chainsaw Zombie 7 : Blaster shot Empty : take a breath Dump : take a spare clip for the rifle Zombie 7 : Blaster miss ( again ) used Chainsaw Clear : take a breath Trap : Net, cut way out with Chainsaw Clear : have a cup of tea Trap : weak floorboards, keep balance al safe Zombie 6 : Blaster miss ( again ) used Chainsaw Zombie 10E : Blummin Blaster misses again! Used chainsaw Zombie 6 : Jumped out at me straight into Hand To Hand, good old Chainsaw. Clear : Oh no its not a sneaky zombie! And the Blaster finally hit its target! Trap : Lunatic stole my Chainsaw, cryingtime! Secret Passage : only by passes two rooms Zombie 6 : Blaster misses AGAIN, Hand to Hand Mutant 14E : 1 Radiation point but saved by the Suit I'm wearing, used the rifle Trap : Cave In no damage or loss Chaos Agent 8 : Hand To Hand Zombie 7 : Blaster gets into gear Dump : Picked up another clip of Rifle ammo

Mutant 16 : 1 radiation point, again safe because of the suit. Rifle shot misses, suffered 1 wound, tried a lucky shot, missed! Took a second wound before escaping Zombie 10 : Blaster miss, why did I bother bringing the blaster? Hand to Hand Zombie 8 : Blaster hit, oh thats why I brought it. Zombie 8 : Blaster miss, I've forgotten again why do I have the blaster? Hand to Hand cost me a wound and stopped me escaping, also infected me with venom. 1 more wound and a quick escape. Clear : Wow, do I need a breather. Zombie 8 : Bloody Blaster miss again! Hand to Hand Trap : Locked door, used the Blaster to...Blast the door. Clear : Time for a quick 30 second cuppa.

Mutant 12 : Rolled 5 for radiation -1 for the suit for a total of 4. Rifle missed, went into Hand to Hand Zombie 7 : Blaster hit! Zombie 6 : Blaster hit, but now it's empty... useless thing. Chaos Agent : Straight into Hand to Hand Empty : 30 seconds to eat a chocolate bar Trap : Cave In, manage to stay safe Trap : Locked Door, Used the Rifle to smash it Empty : A quick slurp from the hip flask Empty : And perhaps time for a cigar Empty : I'm just starting to lay the table when a Zombie 9 jumps out, but the rifle takes care of it Rat Pack 8E : Rifle, I love that rifle, so much better than the blaster Zombie 7 : Oh Yeah, love that Rifle Secret Passage : 7 rooms can be bypassed, I stop after 5 at a Dump and pick up some Body Armour. Empty : Time to pick one's nose Zombie 7 : Rifle misses ( has it been talking to the blaster ) Hand to Hand
First House Cleared! Moving into the second house
Empty : Remove that ear wax. Trap : Locked door, couldn't smash it so had an addition 5 room detiur Zombie 8 : Rifle miss, is this becoming a habit(?) went in hand to hand Zombie 10 : Rifle hits, thats more like it Secret Passage : 5 rooms bypassed Trap : Mines! 6 wounds, fortunately the Armour stops half the damage, but I lose the armour in the blast. Zombie 6 : Rifle shot Chaos Agent 9 : Hand to Hand Empty : put the kettle on Clear : pour into the tea pot Empty : Set the table Empty : Pour from tea pot into cups Empty : sip delicately from cup... aaah thats nice Chaos Agent 10 : 1 Wound + venom on his knife and lose balance so -1 HTH next round and no escape. Another Wound, more venom and -3 HTH next round, then a draw, finally win the next round of HTH Trap : Locked Door, Rifle smashes nicely through. Rat Pack 6 : Used the rifle and slipped in a fresh clip Empty : Dang! No tea left Chaos Agent : Suicide attack! Rifle shot misses and the Chaos Agent explodes killing my Chainsaw Warrior with 6 wounds!
GAME OVER!
When I finally fell, there was still 22 minutes and 30 seconds left. Curious, I had a look through the remaining deck of cards to see how close to winning I was.
Darkness himself was at least 9 and a half minutes off, between us there was a First Aid, 4 Clear rooms, 6 Traps, 2 Empties, 1 Chaos Agent, 3 Zombies and 1 Slime
If it had not been for the Suicide agent there was at beast a Slim chance of reaching Darkness, but I suspect I would have been too weak to take him on anyway.
An enjoyable game, but I'll put the box away for at least a month before trying again.
