2008 MBG Boardgame Auction

Sat 1st March; 12 noon, Scout Hut, Stockport Rd, Romiley, Cheshire

Our 2008 auction will follow our established, successful, formula. The usual venue; the Scout hut just off Stockport Rd, in Romiley (near the Duke of York pub). Usual date; the 1st Sat in March. We accept board wargames, and other boardgames, for auction.

To sell, you must arrive in good time, (aim for 10:30 a.m.), put removable stickers on all your items, and fill in 2 forms. Max. 15 lots per seller (lots can include multiple items). We often exceed the target number of lots, so if you can combine several similar items into one lot, that will help. Sellers must be physically present. Please don’t bring items in excess of your 15 lot allocation to "sell for a friend".

Lots are auctioned in strict order of arrival of sellers on the day. Strict maximum of 400 lots for the auction (auction to finish c. 5:00 p.m.). Auction is cash terms only. MBG take 10% commission on sales. Sellers are paid on the day.

The MBG club meets regularly in Romiley at the Scout hut just off Stockport Rd, in Romiley (near the Duke of York pub), and welcomes new members. Games played include board wargames and "German style" boardgames. Tea and coffee are available at meetings.
