Sorry Rob, to compile the above list it's filtered to counting top 1000 game comments with at least 100 characters.
Edit: "top 1000 games", only because that's the comment data I have available though it's a reasonably useful proxy, "100 characters" to try to favour users who write more detail about their ratings.
I also (tried to) filter for comments in English, since the original requester is an Australian.
Joe... a big thanks for the list of "verbose" users. You indeed have done a lot on interesting work and data manipulation on BGG that have entertained many here... but your flag recognition skills need some improving. NZ is not quite yet a part of Aussie.
The list you provided has been great. I like reading the detailed comments of various individuals and I've found plenty to peruse in those collections.
To my mind the most valuable part of the BGG database is the game comments section of every BGG collection where people outline their thoughts and observations on games they have played. Everything else on BGG is icing but that section is the true meat of the site.
It would be nice to have an easily sortable database on BGG where you could see who has the most comments entered, the most detailed comments etc. Those are the geeks that take the time to add valuable content to the site by giving their summarized opinions on the games they have tried and I think it would encourage more people to write more detailed comments (or simply add comments where they have none now) if we could more easily sort and filter for users that do so as well.
