According to this press release all of the recently dropped games from the Black Library have gone across to Fantasy Flight. There will be reprints, and expansions to WHFRP, WH40KRP, and Talisman.
Colour me shocked.

Great news, I am disappointed that it does not include
SPACE HULK or BLOODBOWL. Maybe it means GW will be rereleasing HULK soon.

Wow, that's very exciting news. Maybe GW was pleased with the way Warrior Knights was handled.

I'm just curious what this is going to do to the price of these games. I'm sure that getting the rights from GW wasn't cheap but I'll gladly pay for Talisman expansions.

Hopefully they'll do some of the more obscure ones like Battle for Armageddon too.

Man, I remember when FFG was just a little booth company...
We need a happy dance emoticon. Way to go guys!

Yeah, you know there will be no drop in quality with FFG taking over these titles. Let's see what a real board game company does with a game like Talisman.
Thanks for the heads up.

Yeah, this could also lead to a possible re-release of Man-o-War since GW no longer makes any models for the line. Imagine that, with packs like the miniatures for Wings of War.

I was wondering when GW would get smart and do something like this. For them it would be like printing free money. FFG is taking on all the risks of development, production and marketing. GW just gets to skim a bit off the top. And we get the games we want.
Now if only Steve Jackson would license out some of his games out of print games.

Brad that won't happen. FFG didn't get the rights to any game that was minatures based. the rights are to the boardgames. i wonder if that will include rouge trooper and chainsaw warriors?

After their work with Fury and WK, I'll be eager to see what else they tackle. Some of these games just need a face life to be popular again.
(But no Space Hulk. I have my copy, but I wish more people had it...)
