Just thought I'd remind everyone of the discounts available to Eurogamesfest members at various games stores:
Socrates in Karrinyup offer 30% off any single game purchase but you have to have a voucher (These are available at the monthly meet ups)
Tactics in London Court offer 10% off but you must first become a member (of Tactics) - this is free to EGF attendees. Jason is 'our man on the scene' at Tactics.
For the closet grognards out there, Warchest, an online store ( http://www.warchest.com.au) have kindly agreed to 10% off for EGF attendees.
They ask that you email them before placing an order to arrange the discount. Note that this discount does not apply to 2nd hand games or those that are already discounted.

Additionally, Miles from GamesParadise www.gamesparadise.com.au has offered a group discount.
If members place orders worth $500 in a given month, they will receive a 15% discount.
If people think this is worth taking up, it's probably easiest if one person takes care of placing orders and collecting dosh - maybe placing the order near the end of a month so that games are available for the next EGF meeting.
This is not a task I can volunteer for - if there is enough interest to make this worthwhile, let me know and I'll pass on the details to the chosen organiser(s). If you use the forums to organise this, please start a separate thread - keep this one for discount announcements only !
