The best way to announce this new feature is just by using it:.

Poll: New Feature Poll
This is a poll that announces our new feature - polls.
What do you think of our new feature?
Awesome
Really Awesome
Really, Really Awesome
You guys suck, this is censorship!

Yay! Unfortuantly, I'm now having problems with Quick Reply and Quick Quote for this thread...

Still, now we can make "official polls" and stuff... I still don't get why 6+ people think polls censor them.

EDIT: Now it seems I can use the Quick Reply / Quick Quote... strange it wasn't working randomly.

How about the ability for individual users to sort GeekLists without messing up the "official" one? I hate searching through a ton of pages to find what I'm looking for (a lot of the GeekList links on game pages don't link to their location in the list).

I have Mu & More in my "Recently Viewed" list. On this page only, the "u" characters do not appear correctly.

Not surprising - as we convert over to UTF-8 the older stuff suffers. I'll get it fixed.

Is there a way to link "votes" and "voters" to the users that did so, like the thumbs system?

And if so, the option to set a poll submission to anonymous, and -eh- nomynous?

It's a joke. Maybe you had to be there.

How about you start a different thread for complaining about things rather than post such messages in a thread devoted to a neat new toy that was given to us?

---------------

I was wondering if there is some way of preventing people from voting multiple times. It would really screw it up if you can just keep voting.

EDIT: oops, asked above while typing.

I can see this potentially useful feature being as badly mis-used as geek questions.

Yeah, but I think it'll calm down after a bit to be a really useful tool.

But, yes, it's going to get ridiculous here for a bit. Oh well, should be kind of fun.

Just remember - The polls must be on topic for the appropriate forum, and will be moved if they aren't.

I think all future reviews should come with a poll automatically attached that way we can tell immediately if it's worth reading or not. ;)

PS. BTW, clicking on emoticons gives a warning popup, you may want to remove that in your code/javascript.
