Yeah it's here! Really it's right here.

Thanks!
I really didn't have a problem with your 1st edition rules, so I hope you don't change it to much.

Thanks for the vote of confidence Mike. There were a couple of areas we wanted to tidy up, especially with a view to speeding up round times. So we've made what I think are mostly minor tweaks, with a couple of new rules/concepts which have fitted in quite well so far ... but I guess we'll see from the feedback. Let us know what you think.

Well if we want a speedy game, we play a Euro style game. My group and the con I've run this at view this as an AT style game that threw in a mechanism to let someone that has been eliminated something to do. So, while some games take longer to play then others (and seesaw), we view that as part of that genre of game and plan for appropriate time to play it.
But, different strokes for different folks, right?

I just heard a review of this game on On Board Games and it sounded quite interesting, I like the losers team up against the winners idea is great. I consider getting this game for my board game association and I'm wondering when v2.0 is coming?

Hi Magnus, v2.0 won't be out until probably some time next year - we're just getting people to chip in with any rule/card suggestions early. I'd buy v1.0, not just because you'll be waiting a long time, but think of the collectable value!*
* this is no promise of any value whatsoever. War on Terror may turn into negative equity. The War on Terror can go up as well as down.

If the value goes down, the terrorists win.

Well, we just started up and I just recive a shipment of 12 games, that we have not payed off yet (I got a deal with a board game store). By the time we decide to buy War on Terror 2.0 might be out, but we'll see. If we get a lot of members and money coming in we might buy both :)

Are you guys still working towards releasing version 2.0 or has it been put on the backburner? We've had a lot of fun with this game but it's been shelved since one of our game night regulars doesn't understand that giving up and turning terrorist in the first couple turns is the same as losing. :)
