Hi all
I submitted an AAR of my first playthrough of the intro scenario, and I was going to do the same of my run through of The Empire Strikes back but I forgot to take notes and so much happened as I was having a blast and the time was flying by rapidly , the amount of times I rolled a zero for a troop quality check to roll a 9 to hit made me laugh ( for the uninitiated in the GTS a zero is always apass and a 9 is always a fail)
Ive tried to play other wargames solitaire and it always left me feeling like I was a dual personality , this ont he other hand seems to be tailor made for solitaire due to the chit pull mechanic and the fast that I made a plan of attack for both sides and tried to carry them out to the best of the rolls and available command points.
Obviously face to face is the way to go, but I was wondering how many of the players here are solitaire/Vassal only and do they find that TDC works well or am I being deluded due to the *honeymoon* phase I'm in with it?
I agree, TDC plays well solo and that's the reason why I bought it, of course the fact that there is VASSAL mod was also very important to me. I already have Where Eagles Dare on pre-order and I'm not surprised how quickly it made 450.
