I'm surprised FFG have not yet come out with a line of plastic containers for storing their various games... AH would be a prime candidate, what with 5-soon-to-be-6 boxes...

Hey, if FF brought out one shaped like a giant floating eyeball I'd get it!

Also be cyclopean in stature, noisome, squamous, rugose and eldritch in nature (as well as being cast in Stygian gloom and dripping with ichor...)

I don't remember it having an eye, but I do remember it wouldn't let me leave the island.
Maybe I was supposed to purchase something first. How was I supposed to know, whenever I walked out of the local shops no one tried to stop me, they just kept saying "be seeing you" with some weird looking salute. Someone needs to tell FFG their retail marketing campaign needs some fine tuning.

FFG will also need to come with a card machine because the mythos deck is currently clearly going out of control...

With each new expansion the cards have gone from 'decks' to 'stacks' to 'piles' to 'heaps' to 'precarious mounds'.
Infact, the cup for holding monster chits has now been traded in for a laundry bin.
But of course, you do realise that this is all because Cthulhu himself has taken control of the FFG management team don't you? The day that someone manages to fit every last component into the base game box, the density will cause it to collapse in on itself and create a warpgate throughwhich the GOOs will march/slide/scuttle forth...

Gotta say, I bought this game when it first came out and hoped it would be popular enough to stay in print and prayed they would come out with an expansion.
Now, it feels like Runebound with all of the different options and boards. I'm glad it's profitable enough to keep expanding.
What they print for Arkham Horror- I will buy.

I don´t see "milking" that way... I see "milking" a product as the way a company manages to keep profiting (or maintaining the profit level) from a product, idea, etc. that is well established in the market and has a solid user base that insures its success. Ask yourself this: do we really need another AH expansion? my answer is "probably no"; Will I buy it - "definitely YES!".
I totally agree with you regarding the quality of the existing expansions. Lets just hope they ca keep the standard...

Yes! Expansions can keep coming and coming and coming...
I find that playing with one expansion mixed into the base game keeps them fresh and gives me a lot to choose from when I want to set up and play. I look at expansions, whether they be big box or card only, in a similar way to campaign books for the C&C RPG. You can play with a different thematic flavor each time.
It also limits the amount of shuffling that has to be done before play.
Besides, I won't be 100% happy until I get an Innsmouth expansion to play with.

I couldn't agree more, since I'm a "expansions whore"...
But with all that I already own, I believe there isn't a chance I'll ever see all the cards, as much as I play the game... as you said, no shuffling needed.

I don't know.....It's getting really hard to figure out how to play these FFG games that have all the expansions. AH and Runebound have so many expansions I am at a complete loss as to which expansions I should incorporate when my gaming group does decide to finally play one of them. Both AH and RB are long games and my group has a lot of shorter games, so we don't get to play AH or RB very often. When we do play what expansions should I use? All of them??? One at a time? Does anyone have any advice.
