Well after an extremely busy month, I can finally say that my next self-published game Cannonball Colony is available! Here it is:

After releasing Archaeology: The Card Game, I thought I'd try my hand at a full more strategic board game.
I feel I can best summarise Cannonball Colony by saying it has the ruleset of a light eurogame, the spatial thinking of an abstract and plenty of direct player conflict.
Here is the blurb from the back of the box:
2-4 players, Ages 10+, 30-90 minutes
Settle a deserted island and cannonball your rivals!
It is the golden age of colonialism and a beautiful deserted island has just been discovered. Unfortunately, ships from different countries have arrived at the same time to claim it!
You take the role of one of these countries in the fight for supremacy on the island. Build a strategic network of roads and forts to extend your influence. Set up cannons in the right positions to blow away your opponents. The player with the most forts standing at the end of the game wins the island for his country!

I have released the game as a limited edition run of 100 numbered copies. The price is $40 Australian.
The game includes:
- 4 island boards
- 4 player mats
- 90 plastic road tiles
- 40 plastic fort pieces
- 8 plastic mountain pieces
- 8 plastic cannon pieces (cubes!)
- 4 plastic ship pieces
- 4 plastic blockade pieces
- 1 rules of play booklet

All the contents after opening the box.
I realise that shipping costs to other countries make this a reasonable purchase. So in the interest of full disclosure for those who are still are interested, here are some extra details:
- The game is quite small, around 16cm x 16cm x 6cm. This is a bit smaller than a Kosmos two player box, but deeper. When all four island boards are set up, the full board is around 25cm x 25 cm.
- The game comes in a white linen-finished rigid box, which is packaged in a large tuckbox.
- Although I feel the overall quality of the game is good, this is a self-published game so the production values may be a littler lower than you are used to.

A top-down view of a game in progress.
A special thanks go out to all the BGG'ers who helped proof the rules. If anyone has any questions about the game, I'd be happy to chat.
Thanks for reading!
Phil
