This game synopsis was written as an introduction/ precursor to a video review that I created for Hey! That's my fish!
the video is available on youtube at:

Hey! That's My Fish! is a light, essentially abstract strategy game for 2-4 players. younger ages can definently play the game and it can be taught in a matter of moments.
Penguins are fighting for territory! and more importantly, FISH. You are the supreme commander of a family of penguins (victims of a horible dye factory accident) that is looking to stake out the best fishing ground, while simultaneously starving their neighbors.
The board is set up using hexagonal tiles on a table. Movement is simple, strategy is limited, and fun is inevitable.
I'm not going to talk about the nitty-gritty rules, because that's in the video, but I will tell you it's a great time for a low price, and it's a ton of fun
You can adopt a more offensive or defenssive strategy depending on your temperment: opting to get all the most valuable fish; or trying to pidgeon-hole your opponents onto rogue drifting icebergs.
Pick it up if you are looking for a quick light game with a moderate amount of in game strategy.
Used best for when you're waiting for that last player to show up for your regular gaming night, and the natives are getting restless.

a) I agree with the above comment regarding sound quality.
b) If I didn't know the game I'd think that if my penguin was isolated to an island then I'd get all of the tiles which isn't true... I have to be able to trace a valid path. I'd guess you both know that... I just didn't hear it in the review and that could be because of a.
c) I somewhat disagree on being so flexible as to not care about the official setup shape of the board. That's going to partially depend on how liberal you are with that, but I'm also a stickler for the original supposedly well thought through and thoroughly playtested rules that I don't like deviating from them. I agree that it's all about having fun, though.
d) I heartily disagree on the closing strategy comments in that once you play it a few times then it's like tic-tac-toe in that there's not a whole lot of thought regarding moves. This game has A LOT of strategy to it and while simple to learn it takes a lot to beat someone good. I play a lot of it at yourturnmyturn.com and it's a game where the good players beat the not so good players time and time again despite both having played numerous games.
Good luck with future video reviews!

Thanks for your comments. I'm glad you enjoyed the review.
I always like hearing different viewpoints. I agree that if it;s taken TOO liberally that the setup could deviate from the original intention. I think our opinion stems from it being a more light-hearted quick game, that we always get close to the intended shape but never really worry too much about the exactly 7 in one row and then 8 in the next, etc.....
I believe you are correct that we might not have explicitly stated the information about being able to trace a valid path to collect the end pieces. It was our first time, and we kind of decided from the get go that we weren't going to be a rules-restatement of the game in our reviews. They're not meant to be tutorials as much as giving a flavor for the game. We highlight mechanics and some rules to let people see how the game works, so they can make an educated decision about whether or not they would like to play it themselves. we never want to to give WRONG information, but we're not trying to be the end-all authority either.
You were totally correct.
Thanks also for letting me know where to play it online. It was merely my opinion that the game might get stale after a while but I am in no means close to the number of plays to definitively know that for a fact.
Thanks again for watching.
We have more, and better reviews coming out and are working on the sound issues as we speak.
