Game Ink's round of voting is now over, and the people have chosen! Even better, due to the great response, we have decided to print the top 6 designs rather than just the top 3! Here are the shirts that I just put up for preorder:
Now, you may notice that two of the top vote-getting designs are not getting printed. While we thought we had the proper permission, the original Italian publishers' requirements for approval were above what Game Ink is capable of providing, so unfortunately we had to ditch the following deserving designs:
We also have another 6 designs up for preorder that we are reprinting due to low stock, so head on over to www.gameink.net and pick 'em up!
Thank you all very much for letting us know what you want! It really helps us out!

Since Chad and I are really only in this for the sake of providing you all with shirts you want to wear, geekmail inquires I get concerning 2 'certain' designs that Gameink.net is unable to sell may cause me to give (no-charge what-so-ever.) interested BGG member certain graphics should they want to do their own shirt via iron-on transfer or through something like cafe press.

I'd just point out to everyone who didn't vote for the Dark Tower shirt that your inner children are all dead, and I hope you choke on your Meeples....

Yeah, we've been out of certain sizes in certain styles for a while, but real life got in the way of Game Ink so we were a little slow on reprinting anything. We also get quantity discounts from our printer, so it's tough for us to reprint stuff when just one size runs out... sometimes we have to wait for a few more things to go out of stock.
We still don't have the cash flow to reprint every single design we're low on, but we hope you enjoy what we've now made available again!

Also, Pre-orders really help us prepare for an additional print run before BGG.Con. It also provides you the chance to get your shirt printed on a nicer quality shirt, so if your like me and like the softer cotton athletic fit tees (with an additional cost), now is the time to let us know and we'll see what we can do.
We will also likely have another set of re-prints/new designs available specifically for the con.
We were encouraged by the number of votes that we received on some of the designs that didn't make it, so there is a medium-sized chance that we may print small runs of stuff like Dark Tower, Cheetos, Galaxy Trucker, and maybe even the quote shirts or the I hate this game shirt. I am also hoping to do a second Tichu shirt; this time with a foo dog.
Also we are wanting to try to work with E.R. Burgess to provide a special run of the Ra shirt this year at BGG.Con. So, by all means, those Ra fans should contact him and give him their support!

I'll be buying a couple Tees at the con but nothing until then (to save on shipping to Canada). Do you still want me to pre-order or should I wait until the next batch of designs?

Well, you can still choose one of those three different BANG! official t-shirts, if you like!

As far as I know, my publisher (Nexus Editrice - Wings of War) is not kaboshing anything but just checking how to give this "proper permission". The use of a trademark is always a bit delicate, but I guess that everything can be easily setteled. I am just waiting for news as soon as the person in charge of the publishing house is back to office in the next few days.
All the best,
Andrea

Are all the pre-order shirts meant to have colour selection options? Right now only the Hive seems to. Just wanted to check before I make some order decisions.

Hive is the only one we're offering with color choices this time around, as we feel that the other designs work best with the chosen colors. Most of the other shirts incorporate the shirt color in the design, so they're not very flexible color-wise.

You should probably talk to whomever is doing your hosting and get gameink.net added as a hostheader for www.gameink.net.
If you go to just the root domain you get a lovely blank page.

We had permission from Fantasy Flight to begin with, so we didn't realize that we had to check with you as well. Sorry for the misunderstanding!
As we discussed, we can't afford to pay anything for licensing, and we felt the design was lacking without the Wings of War text, so we'll just skip out on printing it. If the situation changes and we can print it without a licensing fee, we'd be happy to print it at a later time.

We're going to try and make sure we have everything on hand for BGG.CON, so there shouldn't be a need to preorder if you plan on buying shirts there, although it's possible that we might run out of certain styles and sizes later in the con.

Well I'm sorry too. Nexus is pretty liberal on everything done by players. But when the trademark and/or money are involved, it has to be someghow more careful. My personal guess is that they have to avoid things that can constitute precedents for larger scale exploitations, but this is just IMHO.

Yes, I owe you guys an e-mail. By all means, if you want the Ra shirt, please let me know. I've already had a few people contact me about it and if there are some more, I will work with the cool GameInk fellows to get it done if at all possible. Geekmail me if you want one.
