Hi all, many people have inquired to me about the Montreal reprint, and I'm happy to announce that it is going to happen in August. The current plan is to send it off the printers in early August, likely next week, and to have it ready for shipping by the end of the month.
You will be able to purchase the maps here, and at Boards & Bits, as before. Also as before, until the maps are physically in my hands, I am going to offer a pre-order discount. This time around I am going to match Tom's pre-order price of $16. After the maps are in my hands, the price here will increase to the MSRP of $20
As before, the expansion will come with a two section map (each section slightly under 11x17 inches, heavy card stock), and an 8.5x14 inch Income / Actions / Shares / Locomotive tracking display. Rules are in English.
Payment is accepted via Paypal or with a Cashier's Check or Money Order. If there is an available copy in the Geek marketplace, please purchase using that link. If there isn't, you can also place an order by directly geekmailing me. Fear not people, BGG will get its standard cut from these outside the marketplace sales.
Shipping costs break down as follows:
Domestic (US and Canada): $6 for the first map, $2 for each extra map.
International (Everywhere Else): $12 for one map, $15 for two, $19 for three, $24 for four. Please inquire if you want to order more than that. All prices are for Air Mail; surface shipping (aka: "The Boat") is not available, as the US Postal Service does not offer it anymore.

This is a straight reprint, correct? Or are you pulling a Bay Area on us and making some slight changes to the layout and rules?

No rules changes or anything of the like.
The map will look slightly different because I'm adding the AoS Team logo to it, and am using the Metro Arrow logo in the top right corner, but the game will play identically.
I'm also probably going to make a slight graphical design change to the income track so that the bit which sticks down into the picture of Montreal has its background opaque as opposed to partially translucent (as requested by 1st edition owners), but there is no reason to buy this if you already have an original printing, which is my intent.
edit: One other tidbit, I have slightly increased the printed size of the map proper so that the hexes are a smidge bigger. They were a touch too small in the first printing, not enough to make the game tough to play or anything of the like, but given the opportunity that this reprint offers, I decided to bump them up a bit.
The second printing is also going to be folded as opposed to being left as large unfolded sheets. This is going to be a boon for many people because it means it will fit in the Age of Steam box and will be more portable.

A worthy expansion for sure- this has become my favorite way to play AoS.

QFT. I like 3-player Age of Steam, and Michael's expansion map is one of the best for that number.

Update:
These are at the printers as of 5 minutes ago.
The new map graphic has been uploaded (after some excitement ) to the game page and looks like this:
Summary of changes:
- Corner graphic altered to feature AoS Team logo and Metro arrow.
- Size of hexes on map slightly enlarged for ease of play, they now are closer to standard AoS size rather than slightly smaller than normal.
- Income track now has the background image tweaked so the 22-28 numbers don't have a differently coloured background.
- The map and income track will now be folded, it will fit in your AoS box. This does mean the stock that the map is printed on is a touch lighter, for ease of folding (heavier stock develops nasty fissures at the fold where the ink cracks off the fold and surrounding areas), but I think the trade-off for portability will be worth it to the end-users.
- The Engine/Income track was also tweaked to use the Metro arrow logo.
The reprint should still be on track for a late August ship date. I anticipate having it in my hands by the middle of the month. As soon as I have it, I will be able to pack up all of the pre-orders and ship them out in addition to the copies ordered by B&B. I will give advance warning before the pre-order window closes for people who want to take advantage of the lower price.

Do you know how long it'll take BoardsandBits to get them? My copy of Agricola is waiting on this!

It just depends on the USPS. I will ship the maps out to them as soon as I have them packaged, which should be on Wednesday. They then have to make their way to Seattle, and then they will be shipped out to everyone who ordered them from there.
Look on the bright side, I'm running a bit ahead of the original "last week of August" schedule, so you won't have to wait as long as you might have.

Yet another update:
I'm currently packaging the maps, I should be able to get most if not all of them out in the mail tomorrow.
