Short news: It's very likey that Vikings and Kingsburg will be implemented in BSW within the next 6 months.

Long story:
There's some thing called "Deutsche Mannschaftsmeisterschaft im Brettspiel" - german team boardgame championship. One of the preliminaries is played on BSW, so the games played there will be implemented (but might be removed afterwards, as it happened with Alhambra).

Players were able to vote for the games to play. According to the results, this will be the games (note that this is not final yet - the organizers might chose something different, but it's unlikely):
Family game - Wikinger (Vikings)
Strategy game - Die Säulen der Erde (The Pillars of the Earth) (already on BSW)
Luck game - Kingsburg (Kingsburg)
Cards game - San Juan (San Juan) (already on BSW)

full results here
Note that Saint Petersburg received more votes than The Pillars of the Earth, but it's by the same publisher as Vikings (Hans im Glück), and thus isn't eligible (only one game per publisher, and if several qualify, the one with more votes wins). If Notre Dame would have been ahead of The Pillars of the Earth, it would be out too, since San Juan is also by alea.

No. Agricola (and a few other games) wasn't eligible because it's too long (4 different 4 player games are played in one session)

According to the full results that Werbaer linked to in the first post, RftG finished 4th in the card game category, well behind San Juan, Tichu, and Caylus Magna Carta. Actually better than I thought a science fiction themed game would do. RftG received less than half of the votes that San Juan did.
