Well done, Erik. I enjoy playing games solo now and then, especially when I'm alone in a hotel room and have nothing better to do for a few hours. Yes, you miss the interaction with other people, but you still, in essence, get to play the game. In particular, I find that coop games work best for that, because they can essentially be a puzzle or challenge that one person can go up against, and the themes tend to be very immersive so if nothing else it's as though you're being part of a cool story like Lord of the Rings or Outbreak (Pandemic) or Night of the Living Dead (Last Night on Earth).
Usually, for coop games like that, I definitely prefer controlling multiple roles and playing the full version, as opposed to variants or other solitaire rules where you just control one role. One exception would be Ghost Stories, which I think works very well either to control all four roles or to play with just one role... the reason being is that the solitaire rules allow for "power tokens" which you can spend to gain the ability of the roles that are missing. Once they are spent, they go back to the middle of the board and if you move back there you can pick them up again. So it adds a nice extra element, or at least a different kind of element to the game, which is cool.
