Quick Comment: An excellent new version of the classic game. High quality components and backwards compatibility make this a must buy for fans of light racing games.

I already have the orginal "Formula De", is there a real need to invest in this?

As I'm not a street racing fan, there's only 1 thing I'd like to have: those magnificent Wear Points boxes! They're a lot better than printing the sheets and erasing the tire points spent when you go to the pits.

If they sell those boxes only, I'll surely buy them.

Tom, you've also have given Bolide a positive review. Between Formula D and Bolide, which one would you recommend? Is there another racing game you would recommend over both of them?

Tom, I love the new bits for Formula D! You just shot this up from "Meh" to "Rockin'" on my wishlist, Especially since I can use my old tracks with it.

So, now I need Formula D, and I also NEED THAT TIE! I hate ties, but that one kicks.

Even if someone is not a street racing fan, I think a purchase of Formula D is still a good investement if you are a fan of the basic game.

You get:

- a second set of dice
- the wear point boxes
- more damage marker
- a new track (the street racing track is perfectly playable without his street racing rules)
- better-looking cars
- a revised monaco track
- revised rulebook

The only things you can't use are the street racing cars and char cards.

However, it would still be a nice thing if you could order die sets or wear point boxes seperately.
